Behind the result - No mystery in the method
Species, transport and stay selections add fixed editorial packing reminders. Blank selections add only the general base list; another species gets a specialist-care reminder rather than dog/cat-specific equipment advice. For one pet, food to pack = entered usual approved grams/day × (entered travel days + entered extra supply days). Missing extras contribute 0 and are labeled; without both daily grams and trip days, no quantity is invented. This is a packing multiplication, not a food recommendation. Extra days alone do not establish how long supplies will be adequate. The checklist does not book transport, confirm carrier rules, validate documents or check destination health requirements.
Blank optional text is omitted. Missing numeric inputs and any arithmetic defaults are identified. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML. The tools do not fetch live vet prices, diagnose health issues, check medical records or replace a veterinarian. The plugin does not store your pet’s details or form inputs.
Results are estimates and general guidance only—not veterinary advice. Have health concerns checked with a vet. For urgent concerns, contact a vet or emergency veterinary clinic rather than using a planner.
Before you go
Does this confirm that my pet can travel?
No. Check fitness to travel with your vet and current rules with the carrier and destination. A checklist is not a booking, health certificate or transport approval.
Does the food total tell me how much to feed?
No. It multiplies an already approved daily amount by the days you choose to pack for. It does not calculate dietary needs or recommend spare-supply sufficiency.
Does it fetch airline or border rules?
No. Requirements can change. Independently verify documents, identification, carrier dimensions, temperatures and species restrictions with official providers before travel.
Can I print the result, and are my pet’s details stored?
Print / Save PDF and Download text create copies you control. The plugin does not save inputs or results to a server, cookies or browser storage. Your browser may restore forms independently. Clear all resets the open page, but cannot erase downloaded files, printouts or browser autofill. Keep personal identifiers out of notes.
