Behind the result - No mystery in the method
The tool never derives an exercise dose from species, weight, age or breed. A timed split is available only for a selected dog/cat, fully grown adult life stage and explicit confirmation that your vet has approved the intended activity with no current concerns. Both your total clock-time allowance and chosen session count are needed. Whole minutes are divided equally between sessions, with remainder minutes assigned to earlier sessions. Within each session, floor(session minutes ÷ 2) is allocated to optional gentle interaction and the rest to quiet observation/breaks. This 50/50 arrangement is an editorial clock-time template, not a veterinary activity/rest ratio or a goal to complete. For sessions under 2 minutes, the suggestion is a quiet check-in only. If the session count exceeds total minutes, no schedule is made. Other species, young/senior pets or concerns receive an untimed vet-discussion checklist instead. Outdoor ideas require your confirmation of safe, comfortable conditions; cats receive indoor ideas only. No weather, fitness, breed risk or health status is evaluated.
Blank optional text is omitted. Missing numeric inputs and any arithmetic defaults are identified. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML. The tools do not fetch live vet prices, diagnose health issues, check medical records or replace a veterinarian. The plugin does not store your pet’s details or form inputs.
Results are estimates and general guidance only—not veterinary advice. Have health concerns checked with a vet. For urgent concerns, contact a vet or emergency veterinary clinic rather than using a planner.
Before you go
Is the time split a daily exercise recommendation?
No. You supply an already suitable time allowance. The split includes quiet breaks and does not determine exertion, fitness or a dose of activity.
What if my pet is young, older, ill or recovering?
The tool does not generate a timed exercise plan for those cases. Ask a vet about appropriate activity. A general checklist is not a substitute for that advice.
Should I push my pet to finish?
No. Participation is optional. Stop if your pet seems uncomfortable, distressed or unusually tired. Seek veterinary advice for concerns; for urgent symptoms contact a vet or emergency clinic promptly.
Can I print the result, and are my pet’s details stored?
Print / Save PDF and Download text create copies you control. The plugin does not save inputs or results to a server, cookies or browser storage. Your browser may restore forms independently. Clear all resets the open page, but cannot erase downloaded files, printouts or browser autofill. Keep personal identifiers out of notes.
