THE PET WORLD / INFORMATION
Accessibility
Clear labels, readable text and room to take your time.
Design approach
The suite uses labeled optional fields, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus and plain-text results. No essential information depends on an image, animation or color alone. The forest-green palette pairs dark surfaces with light neutral text for readable contrast, while retaining the four reference greens. Dense numerical data is kept in sentences and lists.
Keyboard and screen readers
Tab and Shift+Tab move through controls. Enter or Space opens header dropdowns; Escape closes an open menu and returns focus to its summary. A skip link moves to main content. Results announce updates and validation errors are exposed as alerts. Native number, select and date controls vary by browser and assistive technology.
Small screens and adaptable use
The layout becomes a single column on narrow screens, and menus remain within the viewport. Browser zoom can enlarge text. Reduced-motion preferences are respected. You can skip every field, reset the form and return later without completing a quiz or account setup. No timer pressures you to finish.
Exports and limitations
Print / Save PDF uses your browser. PDF tagging and reading order vary; Download text is an alternative. Embedded browsers may restrict exports. Themes, plugins, consent tools and hosting behavior can introduce issues outside the supplied tool pages. This is a design commitment, not a claim of independent certification across all combinations.
Report a problem
Tell the operator which page, control or output was hard to use, what happened and your preferred alternative. Share device or assistive-technology details only if you want. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or personal health information, and pet medical records are not needed to report a website barrier.
