What a practical pet tool can—and cannot—do.
Are the tools free and account-free?
Yes. All six run without a sign-up, payment or saved pet profile. You do not need to provide an email to view, print or download a result.
Are results veterinary advice?
No. They are estimates and general guidance. A tool cannot examine a pet, assess body condition, interpret symptoms or choose treatment. Have health concerns checked with a vet.
Which animals do the formulas support?
Age and automatic food-energy estimates are limited to dogs and cats within the explicitly stated scope. Another species gets no dog/cat conversion or automatic food portion. General checklists do not replace specialist species guidance.
Why not just multiply age by seven?
The converter uses a published chart with separate cat and dog-size values instead of a constant seven-year rule. Even that chart is an approximation and does not determine biological health or remaining life.
Can the food tool decide my pet’s diet?
No. It cannot choose a suitable diet or assess weight. The automatic estimate is narrowly limited to confirmed healthy, appropriate-weight adults. Young, senior, pregnant/nursing, ill or recovering pets need individualized advice. A vet-supplied target can be used for label arithmetic without the tool deciding the target.
Are any vet prices or carrier rules live?
No. Costs come only from you. Transport rules, documentation, product energy labels, availability and local requirements must be checked independently with the relevant professional, provider or official source.
What happens to blank fields?
Optional text is omitted. Missing values are not turned into assumed facts. Any zero contribution, such as a blank cost category or extra supply days, is stated. When essential information for a calculation is missing, a general checklist or explanation appears instead.
Does the site store my pet’s details?
The plugin does not save form entries or results to a server, cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. They remain in this open page. Your browser may restore forms or autofill independently; other plugins and your host can process ordinary website visits.
Can I keep a result?
Use Print / Save PDF or Download text after building it. Copies can include your notes and remain under your control. Clear all resets the page but does not erase files, printouts, backups or browser autofill.
Does a packing quantity change the feeding plan?
No. It multiplies your already approved daily grams by travel days plus extra days you choose. It cannot judge whether the feeding amount, spare supplies or travel arrangements are suitable.
Does the exercise planner recommend daily minutes?
No. It only splits a suitable time allowance you already have, includes quiet breaks and never asks a pet to finish a quota. Timed plans are withheld for unsupported species, young/senior pets or health concerns.
Does the starter checklist schedule treatment?
No. An arrival date is a label only. Vaccinations, parasite prevention, medications, follow-up and species-specific needs must be planned with a vet using the pet’s actual history.
What if I think my pet is unwell?
Do not use these calculators to decide whether treatment can wait. Contact a vet for concerns and a vet or emergency clinic promptly for urgent problems. Entries are not monitored and the site cannot triage symptoms.
How do I report an incorrect result?
Check the entered units and method first, then try a simple made-up example. If the issue remains, use Contact with the tool name and steps. Avoid sharing personal identifiers or medical records.
